You will commit to about two hours per week for six weeks in order to complete the workshop. You may log on as often as you wish and at any time during the week.  There is no time when all participants must log on at the same time.

Each week, new lessons are posted and you will be asked to read material, complete activities, make an action plan, share your arthritis-related problems with others in your group and help and support other group members with your experiences.

Yes, your information is confidential:
Only workshop participants have access to the online workshop
You will be known by the username you create for the workshop
The entire website is maintained National Council on Aging’s secure servers

The workshop is free of charge for a limited time, thanks to support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You will also receive a free workbook, the Arthritis Helpbook, to guide you through the program.

There are between 20-25 participants per workshop.

It usually takes about 2-3 weeks before there are enough participants for a workshop. You will receive an email letting you know when your workshop start date is.

The program is currently available to U.S. residents only, as it is funded nationally through a grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We appreciate your understanding.
